Glove Club Ltd is a privately-owned company, and the headquarters are in Perivale, Middlesex, UK.
We sell, market, and distribute a broad range of own and third party-branded medical devices to hospitals, pharmacies, GPs and other healthcare providers in the UK. We also supply a wide range of other customers, on a B2B and B2C basis.
We are a responsible organisation that is committed to preventing pollution, ensuring compliance with all environmental legislation and continually minimising its environmental impact as much as is reasonably practicable.
In addition, we have established an action plan of improvement and continued monitoring of our resources to ensure that we achieve our goals as set out in our environmental policy and that we continually reflect upon our commitments.
All our staff, customers and partners are encouraged to work with us to achieve the following goals:
Energy Efficient Lighting. Whenever we are required to replace a lamp we will do so with LED energy efficient lighting only. By August 2018 we aim to have replaced all lamps with energy efficient equivalents across 20% of our site reducing our lighting energy demand by around 70%.
Promote Recycling. We are committed to ensuring we recycle as much of our waste as possible. Over the next year, and by Oct 2018 we aim to have recycled a minimum of 60% of our waste. We would however like to see recycling of 80% or more to further minimise our impact.
Continuous Monitoring. To ensure we monitor our impact on the environmental and are aware of our use of resources we will continuously monitor our usage of natural resources such as energy, water and mileage. We aim to monitor this closely and by Nov 2018 have built up a baseline image of what our energy consumption looks like to then consider ways of reducing our use of resources.
