Because Nitrile is cheap, and wear and tear resistant it is favoured by professionals in the medical and dentistry practice. Scented dentistry gloves have only been released at the start of this month so only time will tell if they will take off and if they may be extended to general purpose gloves. It’s certainly a well-intended plan to stop kids from hating the dentist, but most professionals won’t want to be haunted by wafting aromas of cake when they’ve got a tricky job to do.
